Who sells the kit

KWICK HOUSE is a brand of SIA Tuuya, a company registered in Latvia. Your contract is with SIA Tuuya.

What you buy

A timber building kit for self-assembly: the parts for the model and options listed in your quote, with instructions, drawings and a parts list for your model.

The kit does not include a foundation or base, paint or wood treatment, assembly, electrics, water or heating. Where the roof covering or insulation is an option for your model, it is included only if your quote lists it.

Prices

Prices on the site are starting prices. The price you pay is the total in your quote, covering the kit, the options you chose, VAT and delivery to your address.

How the contract is made

Orders are not taken or paid for on the site. The steps are:

1. You send an enquiry from a product page or the contact page. An enquiry does not commit you to anything.
2. We reply by email with a written quote. It sets out the kit and its options, the price, VAT, delivery to your address, the delivery period and how to pay.
3. You accept the quote. The contract is made when you accept it.
4. You pay as the quote states. The kit is then made and delivered.

In these terms, "your quote" means the written quote described in this section.

Payment

You pay in the way your quote states. The kit goes into production once payment has been made as the quote sets out.

Delivery time

The delivery period for your order is stated in your quote. As a guide, allow 8 to 10 weeks from order to delivery.

Delivery and unloading

The kit is delivered by road on pallets, on a lorry with no crane. The pallets are about 4 to 6 metres long, depending on the kit, and cannot be unloaded by hand. You unload them with a forklift or telehandler that you arrange and pay for. If the pallets cannot be unloaded when the lorry arrives because there is no forklift or telehandler on site, or for another reason that is your responsibility, such as a problem with access to your address, the carrier charges us for it. We pass on to you the reasonable charges that result, including those for waiting time or a second delivery. When you give us your delivery address, describe how a lorry can reach it and where the pallets can be unloaded. Details are on the delivery and payment page.

Risk during delivery

The risk of loss of or damage to the kit stays with us until the pallets are handed over to you at your address.

Checking the delivery

Check the delivery against the parts list before you start building. If a part is missing or damaged, tell us at [email protected]. We replace it free of charge and send it within 2 weeks.

Legal guarantee and warranty

The kit is covered by the legal guarantee of conformity.

SIA Tuuya, Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve 119, Mārupe, LV-2167, Latvia, gives a 10-year warranty on the timber structure of the kit. To claim under the warranty, write to us at [email protected]. If you buy as a consumer, you are entitled by law, free of charge, to remedies if the kit does not conform to the contract, and the warranty does not affect those rights.

Your obligations

• Check that the building is allowed at your address and obtain any permission it needs. See our planning guide.
• Have a level, finished base ready before assembly starts.
• Make sure a forklift or telehandler is on site to unload the kit when the lorry arrives. You arrange and pay for the machine, which you or someone you hire can operate.
• Assemble the kit following the instructions for your model.

Governing law

These terms and the contract are governed by the law of Latvia. If you buy as a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the law of the country where you live.
