Unloading
The kit comes by road on pallets and stays at our risk until the pallets are handed over at your address. The lorry has no crane, so you unload it with a forklift or a telehandler that you hire. Delivery and payment
Delivery price
Delivery is not in the kit price. We price it for your address and invoice it separately when your kit is ready, together with the balance if you paid a deposit. The kit leaves the workshop once that payment reaches us.

  2. Pay by bank transfer, the full amount or a 50% deposit, with your order number as the payment reference. Your kit goes into production once at least the deposit reaches us.
  3. When the kit is ready, we email you the delivery invoice, with the balance if you paid a deposit, to pay in one transfer. Once that payment reaches us, we agree the delivery day with you before the lorry leaves the workshop.

What to know before you order

Do I need planning permission?

It depends on where the building goes and how you use it. Check the rules for your address before you order.

For the UK, see our guide to planning permission for log cabins.

Is the kit insulated?

The walls are 44 mm logs with external cladding, and the kit price includes no insulation. Insulation is an option on this model, chosen part by part above: floor, walls and roof, 100 mm each. Heating and electrics are not part of the kit.

Are the windows and external doors included?

No. They are an option, with uPVC or timber frames. The option covers the 4 external doors and 10 windows in the specification, two of the windows fixed. The 4 internal doors are in the kit.

What is a clad log wall?

The walls are one layer of 44 mm tongue-and-groove logs in spruce or pine, with 18 mm cladding boards fixed over the outside. The cladding is in the kit price, whichever way the boards run: vertically (145 mm wide) or horizontally (120 mm wide). We ask which you want after you order.

How is this cabin different from the Twin Skin version?

The plan, the six rooms and the door and window openings are the same. The Twin Skin version has walls of two 44 mm log layers. This one has a single 44 mm log layer under 18 mm cladding, and deeper floor bearers: 45 x 100 mm instead of 45 x 50 mm.
